Lesia Vasylchenko visste nok ikke hvor god timingen skulle være da hun november 2019 åpnet det fem måneder lange kunstneriske programmet Struktura.Time. Programmet strakk seg ikke bare over lang tid, men også mange ulike formater og plattformer. Struktura.Time bestod av videoer, foto, grafikk, gifs, hele nettsider, performancer, fysiske utstillinger, lydklipp, tekster og foredrag.
Noe av det ble vist i perioder på fysiske steder i Oslo, deriblant Akademirommet, Galleri K4, Khio og Podium, mens nettsiden www.struktura-time.com samlet trådene ett ikke-fysisk sted.

Struktura.Time føltes spesielt treffende i 2020, året da tiden ble tømt for mening og innhold, der dagene sneglet seg forbi og var de helt samme frem til neste pressekonferanse muligens skulle endre på det (det gjorde de ikke).
Selv lå ikke Vasylchenko på latsiden.
– Since my artistic practice is research-based, I felt like sharing the ideas I was into in the form of an online exhibition. After a while I thought: Why not make a series of public lectures and discussions in the physical realm. I was eager to generate a discourse and to activate the local scene.
– I was very lucky that everyone I asked to participate agreed. For instance, for the last event of the programme, the German contemporary philosopher Armen Avanessian flied into Oslo to present his recent book «Future Metaphysics» and to screen his film Hyperstition, where the voices of artists, theorists, philosophers and curators guided us through the narratives and temporalities that both condition and resist the accelerating paces of global capitalism. It was the perfect ending, that left us with a question mark and maybe even a blank page to continue this project in the future.
Hva er planen for 2021?
– I am continuing to develop the ideas that unfolded during Struktura.Time. I want to produce a film that will reflect upon current and future temporal arrangements and geopolitical effects produced by space communications and satellite technologies. I am invited to curate an exhibition at B-OA Gallery for the «Oslo City» programme this summer. I am also working on an exhibition and discursive programme for PODIUM Gallery, which I am part of, which will focus on Global Futurisms.
